Next, a recent report by the Ministry Of Manpower States:
1. Singaporeans are NOT losing out in a job boom. See this: 39 percent Professionals in 1997 as opposed to 45.2 percent in 2007. Not convinced? The lower rung jobs like production workers had figures like: 31.3 percent then in 2007. Now: a cool 28 percent reported in 2007!
2. Datas show that Singaporeans r benefitting from the employment boom. More Importantly, these are jobs like: Professionals, Managers, etc that went to Singaporeans.
And next, there is this announcement of ERS payout of roughly $400 for most that will be paid out by April 7. Singaporeans who have received their GST credits or cashed out part of their ERS through their bank account will receive their ERS payment through the same accounts on the same day. The ERS will close on Sept 1. And any uncashed ERS will be credited into their CPF ordinary account after July 7.
